Company N recycles sludge, garbage, and other waste into compost, and they receive 21,000 tons of waste per year.

They needed to get more composting equipment to keep up with their growing food waste business operations, and decided to introduced EasyJet.

In their expanded facility, they mix the food waste they received with wood chips and deposit these materials in the compost shed for fermentation. EasyJet is embedded in the floor, and it raises the temperature by promoting fermentation with high pressure aeration.

Composting of deposited materials is complete in 30 days.

Until now, Company N had a blower installed in its existing equipment to do aeration, but they decided to introduce EasyJet because it is crucial for them to raise fermentation temperature in winter.

Before introducing EasyJet, processing was done only with a blower and took 45 days in total. After introducing EasyJet, processing was shortened to 28 days in total; 7 days with EasyJet and 21 days with a blower.

As a result, they expanded the fermentation tank area by 23%, and thereby increased the amount processed by 40%.

They achieved a tremendous economic benefit.

Fermentation temperature rises reliably even in severe winter conditions, so the director of this facility gave high praise to EasyJet, saying “We see that this technology makes it possible to produce higher quality compost in a shorter period of time.”
