Towards a Future Connected by Resource Circulation

MIRAIE’s technology transforms so-called “waste” such as food waste, sewage sludge, and livestock manure from the region into high-quality compost using the power of microorganisms. This compost becomes a “resource” that returns to the soil to nurture new crops. By reducing waste, we cut CO2 emissions and minimize environmental impact, while promoting a recycling-oriented society through resource regeneration. To achieve a sustainable society, we will continue to develop our technology and contribute to a better global environment for future generations.

Three Strengths of MIRAIE

01

Customized Technical Proposals by Consulting Engineers

Customers have different issues, such as fermentation temperature, odors, processing volume, and costs. MIRAIE’s personnel, who possess both problem-solving (consulting)and design(engineering) skills, visit the site to individually examine the customer’s problems. Depending on the issue, a team is formed to identify and resolve the cause. Moreover, MIRAIE’s Composting equipment can be combined with products from other manufacturers. We propose plans that utilize the customer’s existing equipment along with MIRAIE’s unique technology, providing long-term operational support even after installation.

02

Pursuit of High-Quality Compost Production

Compost must be of high quality to attract buyers. The key to producing high-quality compost is achieving a high temperature suitable for fermentation. We have developed the, a pile-type Composting Equipment(Easy Jet) that does not require troublesome turning and uses high-pressure aeration. This ensures oxygen is evenly distributed in the compost, achieving stable high-temperature fermentation even under freezing conditions. Additionally, we apply our technology to address the customer’s issues, enabling high-quality compost production while contributing to labor-saving, cost reduction, and productivity improvement.

03

Developing Innovative Composting Technology through Industry-Academia-Government Collaboration

MIRAIE has been developing Composting Technology in collaboration with local institutions such as Shimane University and the Livestock Technology Center. For example, “Easy Jet” enables high-temperature fermentation in cold regions where composting is not favorable, without the need to cut back, and “C-Mode” automates the compost mixing process to ferment the mixture in a shorter period of time. This unique technology allows high-quality compost production from any type of raw material, including food waste, livestock manure, and sewage sludge.

Hearing, Investigation, and Proposals

Consulting engineers visit the site to investigate

Each customer’s problems, such as bad odor, poor fermentation, and cost reduction, are different, and even if they are all suffering from the same “bad odor,” there are different conditions and causes. In order to accurately identify the issue, MIRAIE sends consulting engineers to the site to conduct interviews and investigate the cause, and propose a solution based on a chemical approach.

Composting Facility Problem Diagnosis

We investigate the customer’s current Composting Facility to determine if there are issues within the facility itself.

Aeration Diagnosis

Poor aeration during the Composting process can slow down microbial activity. We check if oxygen is reaching the compost and identify any equipment issues.

Blower Power Cost Reduction Diagnosis

We examine the blowers, which consume significant power during the Composting process, and plan for reducing power costs.

Fertilizer Analysis

We analyze the quality and state of the compost during production to identify problems and suggest improvements for higher quality compost production.

Odor Diagnosis

The main cause of bad odors in Composting is the fermentation odor. We investigate the fermentation temperature and deodorizing equipment to propose improvement measures

We will make proposals utilizing various subsidies.

MIRAIE’s equipment is compatible with various subsidies to reduce environmental impact, reduce the burden on customers, and introduce equipment to expand the livestock industry, and we will make proposals that include the use of subsidies.

02

Design and Construction

From small to large-scale, our composting technology can handle any raw materials

MIRAIE’s Composting technology can handle all kinds of raw materials, including food waste, sewage sludge, livestock manure, waste fungus beds, agricultural residues, and wood chips. We handle a wide variety of composting plants and related equipment, which can be freely planned according to the scale and application. Combining with existing equipment is also possible.

03

After-Support

Supporting long-term, stable operations for our customers

We propose and implement maintenance and periodic inspections to maintain good performance even after the equipment has been installed. Even in remote locations, we have a system in place to respond immediately in the event of a problem, so you can use the equipment with peace of mind. We also share information with our customers and provide support to ensure stable operation over the long term.

Regular Inspections and Maintenance

We conduct regular inspections and maintenance to ensure that the equipment continues to perform well.

Maintenance Management for Municipal Facilities

We handle the operation, maintenance, proper operation management, and maintenance delegation of facilities to prevent problems using our operational know-how.

Over200Implementations

MIRAIE has many clients across various industries, including waste disposal companies, government agencies, food factories, livestock, and agricultural corporations.

MIRAIE ‘s technology is available in Japan and overseas. We are ready to respond to your needs outside of Japan.

Although MIRAIE is a company based in Shimane Prefecture, our equipment operates across Japan. We have built a system that ensures peace of mind for our customers through regular maintenance and immediate response to mechanical problems, even overseas.
